Hi! At Pulse Style we create all sorts of fun stuff for the very talented CMS, Pulse.
The script was initially created to add visible notes for the admin user to remind them how to add certain Pulse tags (short codes) or blog posts to the site.
Later it was extended to add a simple character counter to the page title field and warn the user is the title was either missing or too long.
By default the script allows page titles between 1 and 55 characters long. As long as the title length falls within these bounds the character count number will display in green. If the title is too long or empty the number will display in red and the save button will be disabled.
Feel free to add your own tools to the bootloader.js file and remove the ones you don't need.
In this directory you'll find the standard open.php file from the Pulse install. Open this file for editing and add the following code at the top of the document;
Pulse is a simple, yet powerful content management system and is ideally suited to small or medium sized web sites.
We've developed a number of plug-ins, themes and galleries for Pulse to allow you and your clients to add rich content to your sites quickly and easily.
Pulse Style is run by Tim Plumb who has been using Pulse for both personal and commercial projects since 2012. Over that time he's created a number of plug-ins, themes, custom galleries and other scripts for the CMS.
