Hi! At Pulse Style we create all sorts of fun stuff for the very talented CMS, Pulse.
This simple PHP script will return an XML sitemap of your Pulse pages when called.
Download the script and FTP the sitemap.php file into the root directory of your Pulse install.
Open a web browser and enter the URL of your of the site map page in your Pulse install. For example;
When the page loads you should see an XML site map of your Pulse site.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <urlset xmlns="http://www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9"> <url> <loc>http://www.example.com/</loc> <lastmod>2016-01-01</lastmod> <changefreq>monthly</changefreq> <priority>0.5</priority> </url> <url> <loc>http://www.example.com/example</loc> <lastmod>2016-01-02</lastmod> <changefreq>monthly</changefreq> <priority>0.5</priority> </url> </urlset>
It may be worth redirecting any requests for sitemap.xml to our new sitemap.php page. To do this you'll need to add the following line to your existing .htaccess file;
RewriteRule sitemap.xml sitemap.php
You can now submit your sitemap.xml URL to Google and other search engines and the PHP script will return an updated site map of your Pulse pages every time it is requested.
Pulse is a simple, yet powerful content management system and is ideally suited to small or medium sized web sites.
We've developed a number of plug-ins, themes and galleries for Pulse to allow you and your clients to add rich content to your sites quickly and easily.
Pulse Style is run by Tim Plumb who has been using Pulse for both personal and commercial projects since 2012. Over that time he's created a number of plug-ins, themes, custom galleries and other scripts for the CMS.
